Hertz Hall is a acoustic concert hall primarily used by the Department of Music. Use of Hertz Hall is governed by special circumstances; contact Cal Performances for conditions of use. Cal Performances manages Zellerbach Auditorium, Zellerbach Playhouse, the William Randolph Hearst Greek Theatre, and Wheeler Auditorium. Cal Performances is governed by a union contract between the University of California, Berkeley, and the University Professional and Technical Employees (UPTE), Local 1, which is affiliated with the Communication Workers of America (CWA). All stagehand employees are professional, non-student positions. Please call in advance regarding IATSE labor or "yellow card" shows. U.S. Interstate 80 to University Avenue exit. Travel east on University two and a half miles to Oxford Street. Turn right on Oxford and travel six blocks to Durant Avenue. Turn left onto Durant, then five blocks to College Avenue. Turn left onto College one block to Bancroft Way. At the intersection of College and Bancroft, walk north into the campus past the fountain, between the two big buildings (Wurster & Kroeber Halls), and Hertz Hall is directly in front of you. Map. No parking in Central Campus without prior arrangement; campus access restricted 8am-5pm Mon-Fri unless prior arrangements are made. All arrangements for parking permits must be made in advance.
